Insight Technology Sponsors Southern California IDPA Series

LONDONDERRY, NH (November, 2009) Insight Technology, the world’s leading provider of tactical lasers, illuminators and thermal imaging equipment, has been named the title sponsor of the monthly International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) matches held in Southern California at the ISI Ranges in Piru. The 2010 matches will be called the Insight Technology IPDA Series and are open to all competitors.

In Episode 3 we produce our first Video Podcast, featuring coverage of the 2009 Steel Challenge. Max Michel won the Open Division this year, JJ Racaza was Top Limited, Rob Leatham Top Production, Jesse Abbate set a new women’s World Record on her way to winning Ladies Open and won Ladies Limited and Rimfire as well. Julie Golob was Top Ladies Production second only to Rob Leatham for the match.

Max Michel has won the 2009 Steel Challenge

Max Michel has won the 2009 Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championship for the 3rd time. Finishing with a time of 82.09 Max finished ahead of a very strong field of shooters. Jessie Abbate won the Womens Open title in 94.94 seconds setting a womens world title.

SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — The Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) announced that firearms maker Smith & Wesson has signed on as a major sponsor of the 2009 Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships. Including sponsoring Pendulum, one of the eight stages at the Steel Challenge, Smith & Wesson will also be the division sponsor for the Open Revolver, Iron Sight Revolver and Women’s divisions.

Shooting Gallery Named Official TV Show of the 2009 Steel Challenge

SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Washington – Since 2003 the Steel Challenge has reached the homes of millions of viewers through coverage on the Outdoor Channel’s hit show, Shooting Gallery hosted by Michael Bane, and 2009 will be no exception as the Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) has again named Shooting Gallery the official television show of the 2009 Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships.
