Media day at the 2010 SHOT Show was greeted with the first of what promises to be a series of winter storms coming from the Pacific. The entire western region has been suffering from lack of rain throughout 2009 and into the beginning weeks of 2010. The normally sunny and pleasant temperatures of Las Vegas gave way to highs in mid 40's, rain and wind all day Monday.

SMYRNA, GEORGIA, September 23: Dave Sevigny, Jessie Abbate and Randi Rogers of Team GLOCK Shooting Squad will attend the GSSF GLOCK Annual Shoot to offer shooting advice and perform demonstrations in Covington, GA on September 26-27. The event will mark the 16th year of GSSF’s largest and most prestigious event of the season. Along with the regularly scheduled competition, plenty of contests and side events will be available. Spectators are welcome and participation is encouraged.

Team GLOCK Shines at the USPSA Back to Back Nationals

Smyrna, GA (9.22.09) Dave Sevigny, Jessie Abbate and Randi Rogers of the Team GLOCK Shooting Squad won Limited-10, Limited and Production titles at the USPSA Back to Back Nationals held September 12-19, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The competition featured 16 stages in each of the Open/Production and Limited/Limited-10/Revolver matches.

What a difference a venue makes. From a hurricane soaked mud bowl of 2008 USPSA Nationals to the Desert Baked dust bowl of 2009 some things remain the same, the game competitors, the dedicated Range Officers and the fierce competition.

USPSA Open Production Final Day 4

The 2009 USPSA Open Production National Championships are over. While unofficial as I write this it looks like 2008 Production National Champion Bob Vogel shooting for Team Eotac has successfully defended his title with a comfortable win. Bob shot a consistent, steady match avoiding costly mistakes that plagued many other shooters. The Open title is another matter altogether.

USPSA Open Production Nationals Day 2

Here are some photos from the action at the USPSA Open - Production Nationals in Las Vegas, NV. The range is dusty, the weather is clear, and the temperature is Hot and the Action is even Hotter! Photos are from the Production Super Squad who shot a morning schedule today and the Open Super Squad and the Womens Super Squad who both shot the afternoon schedule. Day 3 looks to be just as fast as today, mistakes pile up, and times get tight. Enjoy the photos, more to come.

In Episode 3 we produce our first Video Podcast, featuring coverage of the 2009 Steel Challenge. Max Michel won the Open Division this year, JJ Racaza was Top Limited, Rob Leatham Top Production, Jesse Abbate set a new women's World Record on her way to winning Ladies Open and won Ladies Limited and Rimfire as well. Julie Golob was Top Ladies Production second only to Rob Leatham for the match.
