Smith & Wesson Corp., announced today that Team Smith & Wesson members earned high honors in multiple divisions after competing in consecutive United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) National Championships and earned three national titles and posted high scores in each of the five divisions during the 2009 International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) National Championship held at the United States Shooting Academy (USSA) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

USPSA Open Production Final Day 4
The 2009 USPSA Open Production National Championships are over. While unofficial as I write this it looks like 2008 Production National Champion Bob Vogel shooting for Team Eotac has successfully defended his title with a comfortable win. Bob shot a consistent, steady match avoiding costly mistakes that plagued many other shooters. The Open title is another matter altogether.

USPSA Open Production Nationals Day 3
Here are some photos from the action at the USPSA Open – Production Nationals in Las Vegas, NV. The range is still dusty, the wind was blowing, the temperature was better for Vegas and the Action was still Hotter! The action is shaking out as no-shoots, misses and jams take their toll while the shooters on their game have begun to pull ahead. The final Day 4 promises to provide drama from those still in striking distance of their division wins. Stay tuned.

Here are some photos from the action at the USPSA Open – Production Nationals in Las Vegas, NV. The range is dusty, the weather is clear, and the temperature is Hot and the Action is even Hotter! Photos are from the Production Super Squad who shot a morning schedule today and the Open Super Squad and the Womens Super Squad who both shot the afternoon schedule. The Action Shooting Podcast staff want to pay tribute to the Hero’s of 9-11.
These images were taken this morning at Tempe Town Lake in Tempe Arizona. A flag was flown for each of the victims and heros of 9-11. As I was taking the photos I heard Taps being played and it took me a moment to realize that it was being played live. I started to try to find who was playing and by the time I located him he was playing the final few notes. I had time to snap only a couple of shots before he sharply lowered his Bugle and smartly strode away.
