Team SIG’s Max Michel Wraps Up 2009 Tournament Season; Wins 7 Titles, One 2nd PlaceTeam SIG Champion Shooter, Max Michel, has had a successful 2009 season. 2009 marks Michel’s debut with “Team SIG” and as the new SIG SAUER Manager of Competitive Shooting Activities. Smith & Wesson Corp., announced today that Team Smith & Wesson members earned high honors in multiple divisions after competing in consecutive United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) National Championships and earned three national titles and posted high scores in each of the five divisions during the 2009 International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) National Championship held at the United States Shooting Academy (USSA) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Team EOTAC’s Vogel leads the way at the IDPA National Championships West Columbia, SC, September 30, 2009 -West Columbia, SC – The United States Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma hosted the annual IDPA National Championship on September 23-26, 2009. The 360 competitors faced some of the most challenging courses of fire, testing everyone’s skills. Team EOTAC sent six participants and brought home five titles.

The development of a modular pistol that allows the shooter to change caliber and size at will has earned Sig Sauer the New Hampshire Business Resource Center’s “Innovation Rocks!” Award for the month of September.
Exeter-based Sig Sauer’s P250 was designed specifically to address the future needs of the military, law enforcement and civilian shooters and features six different ergonomic combinations to accommodate varying hand sizes. Hailed by Gun World as “a pistol for all seasons,” the P250 is also renowned for having 30-40 percent fewer parts than a traditional semi-automatic pistol.

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) Nationals were held at the United States Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma from September 23-26, 2009.
Team GLOCK Shooting Squad Captain Dave Sevigny won his 8th IDPA National Championship in the Stock Service Pistol (SSP) division along with the High Gun Industry category while teammate Randi Rogers won her 3rd title in the High Lady category.

Koenig Wins Eleventh Consecutive Masters Championship
SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS – Smith & Wesson Corp., announced today that the company’s professional shooter Doug Koenig has claimed a new record in the history of competitive shooting by winning his 11th consecutive Masters International Shooting Championship earlier this month. This year’s match, held at PASA Park in Barry, Illinois, marks the 16th time Koenig has claimed the championship title since first competing in the 1999 championship event.

Dave Sevigny, Jessie Abbate and Randi Rogers of Team GLOCK Shooting Squad will attend the
GSSF GLOCK Annual Shoot to offer shooting advice and perform demonstrations in Covington,
GA on September 26-27. The event will mark the 16th year of GSSF’s largest and most
prestigious event of the season. Along with the regularly scheduled competition, plenty of
contests and side events will be available. Spectators are welcome and participation is
encouraged.

Team GLOCK Shines at the USPSA Back to Back Nationals
Smyrna, GA (9.22.09)
Dave Sevigny, Jessie Abbate and Randi Rogers of the Team GLOCK Shooting Squad won Limited-10, Limited and Production titles at the USPSA Back to Back Nationals held September 12-19, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The competition featured 16 stages in each of the Open/Production and Limited/Limited-10/Revolver matches.
