Team EOTAC’s Vogel leads the way at the IDPA National Championships West Columbia, SC, September 30, 2009 -West Columbia, SC – The United States Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma hosted the annual IDPA National Championship on September 23-26, 2009. The 360 competitors faced some of the most challenging courses of fire, testing everyone’s skills. Team EOTAC sent six participants and brought home five titles.

Bob Vogel set the pace and was awarded Champion of the Enhanced Service Pistol Division as well as the High Law Enforcement Champion title and Backup Gun Champion. Tom Yost won Senior Champion and placed 4th in Stock Service Pistol Division. Tom Carpenter won the Rifle Side Match and placed 5th in the Custom Defense Pistol Division. Other team members that competed at the Nationals included Dave Harrington, Massad Ayoob, and Mark Redl.

EOTAC Hosts Free Shooting Sports Clinic at IDPA National Championship

West Columbia, SC, September 30, 2009 – West Columbia, SC – EOTAC, makers of the highest quality tactical and discreet garments available to operators, hosted a free Shooting Sports Clinic at the IDPA National Championship that was held at the United States Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Clinic gave competitors that shot the IDPA National Championship the opportunity to reshoot stages from the match but with coaching from Team EOTAC members Tom Yost, Bob Vogel, Massad Ayoob, Dave Harrington, Tom Carpenter, and Mark Redl. This was the third and largest clinic hosted by EOTAC.

“For Team EOTAC, it’s a pleasure giving back to the shooting community through these Clinics. The Team members are getting as much out of these Clinics as the participants are. It’s great to see the smiles on their faces as the participants learn new techniques,” said Tom Yost, Captain of Team EOTAC.

“As Team EOTAC members compete in matches across the country, we will continue to offer these free clinics. They are our way of further supporting the shooting sports and helping fellow shooters improve their skills,” said Fernando Coelho, President of EOTAC.
