Bruce Piatt wins the Bianchi Cup Photo NRA Media

Bruce Piatt has won the 2009 Bianchi Cup, held this past weekend, May 18-23rd, in Columbia Missouri at the Green Valley Rifle and Pistol Club. Sponsored by Midway USA the 2009 event is the 30th Anniversary of the Bianchi Cup. Bruce placed first overall shooting a perfect match score of 1920 with 181 X’s. Doug Koenig who won the 2008 Bianchi Cup also shot a perfect score of 1920 with 177 X’s. Third place went to John Pride shooting a perfect score of 1920 with 168 X’s.

The Metallic division was won by Rob Leatham who shot a 1909 match score with 145 X’s, Robert Vadaz last years Metallic Division champion finished 2nd with 1907 and 154 X’s, and in 3rd place with 1904 match points and 144 X’s was Phil Strader.

A new Division for 2009 is Production won by Dave Sevigny with 1806 match points and 101 X’s, 2nd place finisher is Jess Christensen shooting a 1795 and 111 X’s and 3rd place with 1773 and 88 X’s is John McNally.
