The Blade-Tech Combo Pak Special contains everything you need to get started in Action Shooting with your 1911 Single Stack or Limited 10 gun.

The Combo Pak comes with a holster, a double mag pouch and a paddle. The holster can be configured to use either a belt loop attachment or you can swap out the paddle for easy on/off. The double mag pouch connects to your belt using a Tek-Loc connector.

If you’re just getting started in USPSA, IDPA, or Action Shooting using your 1911, this is a cost effective kit to get going. If you’re shooting USPSA you’ll probably want at least one more double mag pouch.

I’ve been using this setup for my Single Stack for the past couple of years. The holster has two tension screws for adjustment. Once you get the tension balanced between having a secure holster so the gun won’t fall out as you’re bending over to pick up brass, and being able to draw quickly without unnecessary resistance, it’s a good idea to use a little blue locktite on the tension screws.

As with all unlined Kydex style holsters depending on your guns finish, expect some wear from the holster. If wear is a concern for you look for a lined holster as they tend not to wear as quickly. If you make enough draws as we do in competition any holster can damage a guns finish.
